A look at Wednesday’s Edmonton weather from Environment Canada.
It’s -4 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with blessedly calm winds.
Alright, November, what kind of trick are you trying to play here? I’ve lived here ostensibly my entire life, and the fact that we haven’t had at least one big snowfall yet is extremely suspicious. At this point in the month, we should all be donning our parkas and cursing your conversion of water to snow. Instead, we get wind, sunlight, and highs above 0 C?

I’ll tell you what, I don’t trust it.
Wednesday will have increased cloudiness in the early morning, with winds climbing to 15 km/h throughout the day and a high of 7 C. The clouds will persist overnight, bringing a 30 per cent chance of showers. The clouds will stain the skies on Thursday, with a high of 7 C and winds staying firm at 15 km/h.
I’ll leave you all with one interesting fact I learned this morning: according to Google, clouds turning water into ice is called “deposition”. The more you know!
